I’m Jacob Morris, an award-winning media and podcast producer and strategic storyteller with over a decade of experience creating customer-first content across corporate communications, marketing, education, and broadcast. I currently support the Corporate Communications team at Canadian Tire Corporation, where I translate ideas into clear, compelling stories that drive engagement, build trust, and support executive and C-suite communications. Prior to Canadian Tire, I spent ten years working across the post-secondary sector, including corporate communications, online course development, teaching, and supporting educational institutions through both in-house roles and my own business, JMorris Media.

In addition to producing content, I’ve led the development of more efficient creative workflows, including implementing project management software, improving project intake, streamlining file management, and strengthening team collaboration. I also played a key role in implementing a 150TB enterprise storage system and led the launch of a 1,500-square-foot multimedia soundstage and podcast studio from the ground up, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

This work included procuring over $150,000 in professional video and photo equipment, developing booking and gear management systems, managing maintenance and inventory, coordinating all studio productions, and ensuring staff were trained on studio operations. I take pride in building systems that allow creative teams to work efficiently, collaborate effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

At the core, I believe storytelling does more than inform. When done right, it connects, inspires, and moves people to action.

Outside of work, I’m a dad to two amazing boys, an avid podcast and audiobook listener, and a firm believer that some of the best conversations happen over a warm cup of coffee. I invite you explore some of my work below!
